With non-destructive testing instruments (NDT) we mean all that devices used to carry out quality and entirety tests on materials, pieces or finished items, which allow to inspect them without destroy them, alter them or take away any part of them.

They are usually used for pre-operation measurements and for quality control of the finished product. Especially in the industrial environment (in building, in aeronautics, in automotive, etc.), every procudted piece needs to be analysed in order to verify the absence of flaws and its compliance with standards.
