UCI TEST





The ultrasonic instrument uses different basis compared with all the other instruments. Each hardness tester measures by depth, imprint’s diameter or bounce; the ultrasonic one is sustained by the use of a Vickers diamond indentor 136°. Adopting the probe to the piece you need to measure, it transmits the electrically detected oscillations and the instrument converts them into hardness measure.
Portable Vickers hardness tester, in compliance with DIN 59159, can make an ideal Vickers measurement where it is not possible to use a LEEB hardness tester, suitable for very thin surfaces.

LEEB PORTABLE HARDNESS TESTER




LEEB TEST





Portable hardness testers use the LEEB method, "bounce" method, according to legislation ASTM 7956. The operation's basis are dynamic: a measuring pen releases an indentor which hits the surface with a specific speed and force. The measured hardness is calculated as indentor's bounce velocity (Vb) divided by the impact speed (Va) and multiplied by 1000, i.e.: HL = 1000xVb/Va. The HL calculated value is converted into all the scales, ROCKWELL, BRINELL and VICKERS.

MECHANICAL PORTABLE HARDNESS TESTER




Portable hardness tester which implements a mechanical test leaving an imprint on the measured part. This sign is then converted into hardness, according to the used instrument, therefore according to its measuring scale, and depending on the tested material.




BRINELL TEST

HBX 0,5's TECHNICAL FEATURES:

BRINELL hardness tester is designed to measure the hardness of steel and cast iron up to 350 - 400 Brinell; measurements can be performed everywhere and in every testing direction.
This tool allows you to save classic consumables; it is lightweight, small and portable.
When you press HBX 0,5 down, a pre-loaded spring is set free and it releases the load on the underlying material, the force of the spring is guided in line directly on the indentor.
Thus it creates an imprint. Subsequently, the diameter of the sign is measured thanks to the supplied micrometric microscope or through digital measurement systems.




ROCKWELL TEST

PHT's TECHNICAL FEATURES:

The ROCKWELL mechanical hardness tester, smaller than a benchtop hardness tester, loses nothing in accuracy.
The smallest model weighs only 0.7 kg and its application is similar to a classic micrometer. PHT directly reads 15 Rockwell scales: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, P, R e S (depending on the model).
The accuracy meets the standards ISO 6508 and ASTM E-18.
The measurement's procedure is very fast and easy, leaving only a test imprint on the material.
